Her pots look almost exactly like the ones i make.
I use a single (usually 4-6 inch depending on size pot needed) strip of pap=
er from a half page of a smaller monthly paper wrapped around a round objec=
t (usually a full unopened pop can depending on the size pots i need) 3 tim=
es with a fold across the bottom diameterthen two partial folds to make a p=
oint and then tuck the point under the edges of the folds to form the botto=
m. The way the pop can is rounded inward on the bottom makes it easy to cre=
ase the bottom inward to hold these folds in place. Then i slide/twist this=
closed end off the can and fold a inch or so of the collar inside till i h=
ave the height i need. I find it forms a stronger pot that doesn't unravel =
and uses less paper than using the whole folded up page of a full size pape=
r. A whole page is just way too thick. Made about 60 of these a few days ag=
o. I find i can fit 8x4 in a standard plastic tray using a popcan and can s=
till fit the plastic lid on the tray. I do remove and compost
the paper at planting if its not penetrated by roots but it usually is.

Use newspaper! There are these wooden thingys to wrap newspaper around and
you squish it onto a base to make a pot. They decompose well and also
recycles your newspaper! No need to pop any plants out of its pots this way=

Barring unforseen problems with the glue used in these rolls, you
could also use paper towel rolls too. I still prefer the plastic pots
as they are reusable and even though very thin, they are easy to get
the plants out of them. I just don't like the idea of using anything
like a paper product to hold in roots of new seedlings when they get
planted in the garden.
