I have a plant that is now about 12' high, the leaves are shaped like
oak leaves only fuzzy, it has a fuzzy, hollow stalk and so far no
flowers, although it's starting to show some type of buds on the ends
of the many, many branches. It's grown this tall just this season and
the landscapers I've talked to have no idea. Anybody out there have
any idea at all? IT has no smell when you crush the leaves, it doesn't
make you itch. Thanx!!!!!

What kind of oak leaf are you referring to? Does it have rounded lobes or
pointed? Anyway you can send a photo?
