I want to plant some shrubs in large containers. The area is slightly shaded
under a Palm tree. I am looking for something evergreen and which will grow
to about 8 feet. Any ideas?

Pamela Steele wrote recently asking for shrub ideas for containers and Joe
Seals sent a very impressive list.

However, one plant not mentioned that's stunning in a large container is
Pittosporum 'Silver Sheen'. It has an open and airy habit, with smallish,
silvery leaves emerging from almost black very thin stems. It will grow in
part shade.

Not your usual pittosporum, but a great new one to try.
