Is it a lot less light than it was getting? I might like a good
grow bulb.=20
Andf some plants just go into shock for a while after being moved
to a new location.=20
I'm just kind of guessing along with you. Only tree fern I've dealt
with have all been planted outside.=20

Hello may I ask is this a tree fern as in the ones we have growing in
the forests here in Australia or is it something else with that name?
If it is, many of these survive snow here. They just brown off and
new fronds grow in the spring. We have them in the garden and water
from the top into where the new shoot come out.

well when i bought it at home depot it just said dwarf tree fern.it says gr=
ow as an annual
which i intended for it to grow as a houseplant for years to come.so i dont=
know what this
means.also when it was at home depot it was in the back of the shelf where =
it got no to
very little light.so i dont know
If it is a fern as we have them here they are an under storey plant
and don't need so much light. It may well be dying back for winter.
Does it have fronds that curl out of the top? If it does it may well
be going into winter and will just need to be kept comfortable wit
not too much damp (misting would be good) and natural light if you
have it.
But then again it could be something that looks ferny but is not.
Ferns are very ancient plants and really beautiful in their natural
habitat.
