I know that one generally starts with a culm or division of an existing clump
of banana plants, but how do ag experts "breed" them since the fruit doesn't
have viable seeds?
There was something on the news lately that commercial banana growers are in
trouble due to a fungus that attacks the most common variety they grow, and
that "scientists" were trying to cross breed it with fungus resistant
varieties.....
