Just back from a weekend in Connemara, and looking at a sample (just a
small handful of stems) of U. intermedia collected in an old peat
cutting ditch, I see that there are actually two species present.
Going by Stace, these appear to be U. intermedia ss. and U. stygia (U.
minor was also present at the same site, although in a different
area). So, I was wondering whether anyone else has much knowledge of
the occurrence/distribution of the U. intermedia aggregate (also
including U. ochroleuca) in the region.
