It is also known as Asian pear, apple pear...
It looks more like an apple and has a taste and texture in between an
apple and a pear, especially the "20th Century Pear Apple". My other
one, Chojuri, I think it is called, has a darker brown skin and not
as appealing as the 20th Century one. They are very expensive in
the stores and sold by the single fruit, and not even organic!
