Hello everyone,
Every year I go through the ordeal of buying Boston ferns and placing them on my front and back porch. The ferns grow beautifully but once Fall approaches, I bring the Ferns in the house and they die. How to I keep my Ferns living through the Fall and Winter months? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks
Marilyn

I'm no fern expert, but I would suspect the sudden change in humidity,
and maybe to a lesser degree, light conditions. Try putting them in a
place where you can mist them often, and maybe set them in a large
bowl with a layer of gravel, and keep water in the bowl about as deep
as the gravel layer. And close to a south-facing window is possible.
