I'd like to make some apple juice and apple cider for use this winter too,
but would love to hear from others how they make it. Also, is there any way
to make it clear like it comes in the store?
I have a bunch of apples this year and want to make lots of different things with them. So far I've made applesauce, apple butter, canned apple pie filling and frozen several bags of apples for making pies or cobblers with this winter. I'd like to make some apple juice and apple cider for use this winter too, but would love to hear from others how they make it. Also, is there any way to make it clear like it comes in the store? I noticed when I was cooking the apples for applesauce that the juice is a little milky looking. Which are the best apples to use too? I have Red delicious, Red Connell and Haralson apples.
Thanks for your input!
