I would hope she has a hardware cloth fencing on their house as well. I belong to a couple of ducks and geese for pets groups. The groups have been losing many to coons in the last few weeks.
We try to make sure nothing can get them in their pens and houses at nights.

Hi

Yes they are penned at night. In Australia however we don't have coons. We have foxes and feral cats and irresponsible dog owners who let their dogs roam and get up to mischief. These 3 are always my main concern. The pen is completely enclosed and has the wire dug into the ground and then a layer of tin just below the dirt. The animals hate the sound of their claws scratching on the tin and so this makes a good deterrent. I have 2 very energetic dogs as well, (Chinese crested ) but here everything gets along and really it has just been consistent training of the animals that could have been a problem for each other.
