
For what its worth the presence of a no parking sign has absolutely no significance at all either in law or even, at its
lowest level, good neighbourlyness (is that a word?) unless it is backed up (on or by the sign) with the authority.
As a frequent hillwalker in Scotland one finds these and many other signs just a ploy by estates and even individuals
that may object to your presence! -- In England the very sign may well be illegal in itself! - But be warned, read the
small print! By-laws are the anathema of justice; but what do they care.....................
