Hi Cindy

I don't really know. I've never cut it back since I've been here. I =
thought I'd just reach in under and remove some of it. I can't remember =
what the roots are like now - short memory, but I really need to cut some =
of it back as its taking over the Erica.

Maybe someone else can advise both of us. I'm, rather bad at asking =
advice at times. Must be my independant nature. I just go ahead and see =
how something works at times, or read books. Let me know if you find out =
and I'll do likewise.

BTW, I remove all my blooms once they've finished. Do you?

Penny

Speaking of candytuft, I have some in another spot that I think is in
desperate need of cutting back. It continues to grow and spread, but the
original parts are mostly just tangled up old branches, without much =
growth.
Do you think I can cut this part away, without ruining the newer part of =
the
plant? I thought it needed some trimming last summer, but was afraid to
start cutting. Any suggestions?
Cindy
