Nettle asked for my attention when I brushed my hand over it today without being conscious of it. Wow, it got my attention. Nettle is one of the most nutritious things you can eat. Sue
Nettle mash sounds interesting. Is it nettle in scrambled eggs?

Some of our potatoes are still as firm as they were at harvest time but =
some also are getting a bit wrinkled. These spuds are still very good in =
a mash. Boil until ready.
At the same time steam a nice quantity of nettle tops (small bucket =
packed). When these are soft after a few minutes we chop them on a board =
like you would spinage. Mix with the cooked potatoes adding milk, a lump =
of butter, salt, pepper and nutmeg. We have a special masher to mix =
everything well and that gives a smooth green speckled finish. =
Delicious.
And I would bet something that most people would think they were eating =
very nice spinach mash.
And for the older gentlemen amongst us, nettles are as useful to =
maintain a healthy prostate gland as saw palmetto.
Nettles are a weed that everybody has, why not make use of it?
