Ah, good clean germs! We used to not worry about germs. Well, now many people think they have to kill all germs. As we have talked about before on this list, germs are not the enemy, they protect us from reacting to everything in some cases. Sue

No we didn't, but wild animals were not very numerous in those days,
Kimm. One could go on a daylong hike in the Rocky Mountains and see
two or three chipmunks, perhaps hear a whistling marmot, and that was
the extent of the animal life one would see. Now one would probably
see a number of deer too, perhaps even see a beaver colony. Margaret L
