Naw, most of our rednecks around here are pretty laid back. Besides I now have a concealed carry
permit myself. Most Bubbas are proud of their dogs too. You just yell at them - "Hey Bubba, what the
he** kinda dawg is that?" Usually they'll tell you the whole pedigree of both the dog and the owner.
Besides that, you can only find them big round bales of hay around here and one fills up the bed of
the pickemup.

My nephew has the littermate of my Ruffian. Clyde is black and my Ruffian
is yellow. He (my nephew) fits the redneck description to a Tee. He has a
pickup complete with gunrack, but I don't remember a bale of hay. My nephew
(actually grandnephew) lives in Ky. where I came from originally. When he
went to buy Clyde, I made the mistake of going with him. There is a really
strong bond between us - such that I tease him and call him a redneck. I
won't tell what he calls me :-) Anyway, he wanted that little 16 lb, seven
week old puppy to ride home in the back of the pickup tied to the frame so
he wouldn' t all out. Such an argument we had. It ended up that I rode
home in the back of the pickup with the little puppy in my lap. A couple of
days later I went back to that breeder and bought Ruffian. Clyde rides in
the back of that pickup just fine now, but now he weighs 100 lbs not 16lbs.
