Hi Flora,

Sounds wonderful. It's on it's third day outside in the shade, temps up
to 113, and doing well so far. I just have to remember to keep it
watered! ;) Is yours in full shade? Does it get any sun at all? If
no, does it bloom well even in full shade? I might have the perfect
spot for it ;)

My Chenille Plant isn't in full sun, but what it does (that I like so
much ) is send long limber stems up into the center of the honeysuckle that's
on a trellis on a hot west facing wall. These stems send their tips out into
bright sun and bloom all the time with those red *brush* looking flowers. So
the shade at ground level is what they seem to like.
Before the honeysuckle was there they filled that narrow bed with solid
green and bloomed constantly then, too, right there in the sun.
So I think shaded ground is welcome and I'll bet you can find exactly
the right place for it. They seem to root very easily so if you make some
cuttings you can experiment...now that's fun, too, isn't it! Flora
