Principal of homeopathy, as I understand it, is : like cures like.
I wouldn't worry about it, as after all the dilutions- there's no real
active irritant left in it.
Waht was the dilution ? 8x, 10x?

Subject: Poison ivy for arthritis?
While at Whole Foods today I looked at Triflora arthritis gel, a "natural
homeopathic" remedy containing comfrey and -- poison ivy! The label does
say not to use this product if you are "hypersensitive" to any of the
ingredients. Well, I don't know whether I'm "hyper"sensitive to PI, but I
am certainly "sensitive" so I didn't buy it.
But who knew PI had such a use? Sue, have you any idea how or why PI would
relieve the ache of arthritis?

Sure, but what in PI is like arthritis pain? (Ha! I know: you itch so much
you forget about the arthritis....!!!!)

This is what I wrote down, but I don't know how to interpret it:
Comfrey: 1X 10%
Poison Ivy: 3X 5%

Seems to me that this is a 5% mother solution 3 times diluted and
potentised. A 5% solution is made from a 5% solution and then again a 5%
solution from that and then once more. It is debatable whether this will
still cause a PI reaction. I would guess not.
Comfrey is simply a 10% solution, not overstrong imho.

It is not uncommon for /tiny/ doses of poisonous substances to be good for
curing something or other!
