I have mushrooms in my lawn, gardens, woods, mulch, trees and even on my
house. None yet so far on me or the dogs but I'm watching. It has been
so very unusually wet this year. Fall starts this weekend, cold weather
and snow will start in a month or two, so I've just been waiting it out.
Is that a problem? Will that many spores survive the winter? I have so
many I'm starting to worry. Some of them are those icky kind that melt
into a black, inky smear. Some are kinda pretty. I'm tempted to go
learn if any are edible, I could host a feast. Is there something I
should do to control them? Do I do it now or in the spring? Thanks for
