A while back I asked what these balls of grass could be that I keep finding under my hydrangea.
Yesterday I found out. My daughter saw one and said, "Looks like horse shit!" I broke it apart and sure enough, it was.
How did it get there? My daughter put it there. My neighbor's daughter has a horse and comes often with friends and sits on the horse talking with her parents before continuing back to the stable.
This leaves horse shit on the sidewalk and Tove sees it and throws it under the hydrangea. Puzzle solved.
