
Whoops! One step in the recipe given incorrectly, altho it probably makes
little difference.
The buttered side gets the filling. Also, the recipe calls for brushing the
rolls with a bit of melted butter before baking them, but depending on how
much butter you have already put on the bread (which will most likely soak
thru), and much butter you can stand (haha for those of us with HC) you may
not have to do that step.
I made these last night as appetizers at our new years eve dinner...used an
entire loaf of the cheapest white bread I could find, there were 4 of us.
None were left, as they are really hard to resist -- crisp outside, moist
inside, and last night I used a bit extra "heat" as well -- Nigerian cayenne
pepper.
