Started to rebuild my pepper bed today and much to my sorrow I found some of the same
green berries there. I guess that is one vote against there being grapes in my grape bed.
However there are still the black/blue berries to consider. I guess I will have to wait til next
season to be sure. It also indicates I better get busy and take care of the true grapes by
pruning them. I have kind of fallen behind on that job. This year I will have to mulch the grapes
in for winter with grass clippings. I have no more wood chips. This must be an off year for the
pruners.
My clematis is doing quite well there are many flower buds on it. I doubt they will open this
year as there has already been light frosts. When do clematis blooms open?

Mine flower early to mid summer with odd flowers in autumn.
