Enjoyed it! Three photos didn't load, however...the speaker and the last
two just gave me a little square with and red x in a large white framed
space.

Debbie in Williamsburg, VA where my two moth orchids are starting to bloom
again...

I posted some photos from our orchid show this weekend, on my site. Man what
lovelies there were there, too.
I didn't do them justice, but will learn.

Hi Deborah, I think that is sorted out. I can't figure why it happens but I
have down how to fix it. thanks for telling me. Those last two are
spectacular plants and the scent.........
I couldn't have one but sure is eye candy, eh? The guy who owns it took it
to last years show and had to brake when a dog ran across in front of his
car. It went up in the air and smashed down breaking 11 stems off the main
plant. What it must have looked like then.

Nice photos; I didn't have any problems. Orchids are one flower that I
can enjoy seeing indoors; probably because I've never visited them in
the wild.

The Philadelphia flower show had a kind of tropical theme this year with
lots and lots and lots of orchids. Unfortunately, on Saturday it was so
crowded that it was difficult to get close enough to see the orchids,
let alone the tags. People were using their camera to get pictures by
holding them over their heads and pointing the view screens down. I
guess they will look at the pictures when they get home.

Don't mind my attitude, I don't like crowds. Although it was a great
day to do my program. The show was very well done; I not only got an
introduction but the woman from the horticultural society had done her
homework and did more than just read the bio stuff that I send them, and
did a good job, too. Largest crowd that I've spoken to so far.

Karen Swaine and I set down for about a half hour after my program and
got a little acquainted but we were both worried about the fact that I
was driving back that day. So it was nice to meet a list member but a
short visit.

One more to go, I repeat my dahlias in France program in Boston on
Tuesday.

I would love to see one of your programs. I am glad you are happier with how
they are turning out.
I was the lone photo taker at the time I was there and I tried to be out of
everyone's way. I hate it when they push in and ruin someone's enjoyment. I
just pointed the camera and pushed the button. It is so hard to see the LCD.
I am not a proper photographer so I really don't know how to set up. I
should have gotten there earlier and maybe taken the tripod (a gift from
someone years ago and I haven't ever used it.) I lost shots due to movement.
I don't like most crowds either. Especially pressing ones. I find I get to
something and the people freak me out. It used to be the scents they wore
and smoke etc but now it is the press of so many people in one place. I am
withdrawing, I guess. I like big open spaces (although if you saw this place
you wouldn't believe that. We are packrats.)
