I, too, hope to someday be able to buy Bargylas books. In the meantime, why
don't you check on Sally Jean Cunningham's book "Great Garden Companions".
(I do believe I bought it from Radale Books) She has a small chart on Bot.
Fam Names of vegetable crops on page 49, from asteraceae through Solanaceae,
along with their pronunciation. She packs a lot into this almost 300 page
book.

Well, as I wrote, I THOUGHT that's where I'd bought it, but perhaps it's
available someplace else or just on its' own from Amazon, or book store,
or.....

"Great Garden Companions" is a great book. So are "Introduction to
Permaculture" by Bill Mollison and "Earth User's Guide to Permaculture" by
Rosemary Morrow. These three books are all available at my local library.
If your library doesn't have them, you can try interlibrary loan. While
these books don't have all the technical stuff that Bargyla includes, you
usually don't need to know the technical stuff if you build very healthy
soil. Nature will take care of the details for you. If you do want to
know how healthy plants and soil work, though, by all means start saving up
for Bargyla's book. It is very rich with information, but most of us are
not rich enough to buy it. Bargyla, can you publish it on lower-priced
CD's so more of us could benefit from it?

> OOPS! No way I could spare that. I am sure the book is worth
> it. Just of my class. I will have to make due with what I am picking
