My sister told me about a photo of a painting that is up for auction
this week in Boston. For about a half million if you think you might be
interested. 8' X 10' so make sure you have a wall to display it. It's
titled something like "My Lover's Friends" and it's a wall sized picture
of lots of beautiful fluffy cats in classical poses. The focal point, a
majestic beast on a pedestal, is a Maine Coon cat, like the one that I
rescued as a tiny baby from the side of the road and gave to her.
And then I'm looking at the picture and thinking "ahhh choooh!" because
of all of the long haired cats and said, is there a black one? So we
looked and there was. A black, cat shaped smudge near the front left.
Even painters can't capture them.
