Well in the day some little light comes in but it is
not enough that I don't turn on the light when I go
in.. I am a light freak though... I turn on lights to
watch TV in the day when it is overcast.. Drives DH
nuts.. and when I am working (cleaning or pottery)
LIGHTS MUST BE ON !! Makes me crazy if not..
Ok what I am getting at... There is a window but it is
North(??) North-ish and there is a curtian.. It's cold
in there (a little) So whatdayathink?? Should I move
it or wait the next two weeks to compleete the 6
weeks?? And then put it back in it's home to see what
happens..

Dark bathroom? 24 hours each day? Yes, they will grow nubblies.
You might want to give it some light...say 8 hours or so every day...then
the rest is dark rest...no light.

Mine always seem to bloom without the darkness. I believe it's beacause I'm
a very bad mother and don't water them until they are shriveling a bit. You
may want to try it.

YOU TURN ON THE LIGHTS??? What would that cacti think, when it's trying to
take a long winter's nap and you confuse day with night???
I think that it will set blooms anyway, if the room is cool enough...and
Linda's watering plan works, too, for some cacti. You've just gotta zen in
with your plant, and figure out what will frighten it into bloomin.

What if I take all my anger from the condition of my
son's room and yell at the cacti instead of my son who
it goes in one ear and out the other?? Think that
would frighten it ?? :)
