I've heard this, but haven't tried it as we drink a mix that's mostly =
decaf. I do have a question though, and it seems stupid, but I can't =
help asking. Would several applications of coffee affect the taste of =
the leaves? We wash the leaves, of course, but I can't help envisioning =
a salad picking up the taste of the coffee???

I have not noticed a coffee flavor on the lettuce I've used this on.

Well, we have plenty of that too. I will try it, but with rains does =
it have to be re-applied all the time - I imagine it does.

It does wash off easily, which may be why there is no noticeable =
coffee flavor, but I have also found that it is not really necessary to =
reapply it that often since apparently the slugs remember this had =
coffee once and they stay away, not real sure about that though.
