Thank you all for your great suggestions. I think I will try the cold =
coffee and/or ammonia before I go to the big guns of sluggo. If only it =
would stop raining here-as long as it keeps raining the slugs and the =
black spot are getting the upper hand!
As for the roses, I sprayed them with a neem based product over a week =
ago, then waited about 5 days and sprayed them with Rescue Remedy ,and =
compost tea yesterday. It is unbelievable, but the most defoliated ones =
are growing new shoots, and the spread does seem to have slowed.
