Will have to look for that, Harry. Hadn't heard of it.
BTW, got those binoculars that were on sale from Orion before the =
holidays, and am pleased with them. When I first looked through them, I =
couldn't see correctly--there were funny black patches and out-of-focus =
areas. Once I figured out it had attached eyecups that pulled out, and =
looked through them again, everything was ok. Weird!

Kroger is where I get the Fat Free Plus milk. You might give it a =
try.
Those black rubber things are for people who wear glasses!

I wear glasses, but fold in the eyecups. I find that if I use them, they
distance the lenses of the binocs too far from my eyes (in addition to the
distance the glasses already add), and that makes it seem like I'm peering
through two pinholes.
BTW, I got my Orion binocs also. Can't wait till canoe season to use them!

Wait a sec - Are you folding the eye rings "back" so that they are flat
against the binocs? If you are wearing your glasses when you look thru the
binocs that's what you're supposed to do. Some folks take off their glasses
and just leave the eye rings out. You could never do that with your glasses
ON - it wouldn't work, you wouldn't see anything much... so... I'm not sure
what you are doing, but as long as it works for you it's good!
Karen, NJ, whose binocs need new rings, and a new cushined strap, and a
cleaning.
Yes, that's what I'm doing. When you wrote that the black rubber things
are for people who wear glasses, I thought you meant that they should be
extended, which is the opposite of what I do. I guess I misunderstood what
you were saying.
