My Gravenstein apple tree lost all of its apples in a windstorm, and
now it's blooming again. I hope it doesn't set fruit, since it's
already been stressed this summer by prolonged excessive heat. If it
does set fruit, I'm tempted to remove it...what think you? Margaret L

Is there any hope that there is enough time for the fruit to ripen?
How big is the tree, would it be a monumental task to pick all the
fruit off if it would set fruit? Must be a very fruitful tree. Have
you had crops of apples from it on most years?
I think it is a commendable apple tree :-)

Yes of course remove them - even in your climate I suppose . Second
blooming sometimes happens here as well - that is week flowers on annual
shoots - nothing to take care of - not here at least
