Alan,
We have these all over around here. Can you remember the real name of them?
There is Bauhinia that is beautiful, but considered a noxious weed as it is
slowly pushing out native species in some areas. This one has a deeply
notched leaf almost like two heart tops. Since they don't get to big, I
don't think that is what you have. Another that I don't know the name of,
blooms at the same time that the Tabebuia, a shorter, spreading yellow
flowered tree. One home I pass almost every day has a line of trees along
the front fence with every other tree having purple and yellow flowers.
Both have been finished blooming for at least two weeks, so we may be a
little ahead of you.

The new pictures are beautiful, keep them coming.

Ahhhh, yes I would imagine you do. In my rose beds, sometimes I will get little
seedlings, but other than that, they are not much of a problem here. I suspect
because it is so dry here.
