Speaking of orchids, how's the orchid "sprout" developing Marg?
I don't think I shared this with the list but just before we left for
NS, I noticed a white Cattleya orchid had four buds about to open.
Now, what you must know is that I have not seen this plant in bloom
for 8 years. They were just opening the morning we departed. When
we got home, the last one was turning brown. I hope it
isn't another 8 years. Linda in NW Ohio.
Hi Linda, there are three with sprouts. I can't remember which ones we were
talking about, now. I am hopeful but one has just sent up some new bumps. I
need to adjust the light levels. I am going to move some into the livingroom
and see does that light perk them up. Oh, Linda how glad I was to finally
meet you, but to miss a flower that you hadn't seen bloom for that long,
what a price to pay.
I would go nuts if I had to wait 8 years. I am annoyed at three for one. It
is so healthy, I think, now the bugs are gone, knock on wood, but that
special light bulb isn't doing what I was hoping.
