Woke up in my chair after six hours of deep sleep at 5. After a while I noticed that it was light outside and got still one more jar of slugs.
I have noticed, though, that they attack only my weeds, which they like very much indeed. Also, my "noxious" flower, that I cut off with an eye to digging up - this is growing up and they like that too. So far no damage to vegetables or fruit.
Funny weather, too: loads of rain, but sometime between two and four the sun comes out and it gets very hot, so I keep my kitchen door open to stand it.
First summer the heat has been too much for me, so that I have been inside during the worst hours. My daughter and friends are miserable with the heat (I think it is called heat prostration when it hits you that hard.) I still like it, but this year I will not get dark brown but only medium brown.
