In my own searches for arsenic testing (which Auburn's website doesn't list
as a possibility, they don't asnwer their phones, and I'm waiting for the
extension agent to answer my query) I found at ATTRA a link to this.

Albion Shares Nutrition With the World
In alignment with the long standing tradition of improving world nutrition,
a large scale humanitarian effort has begun at Albion. The Clearfield
manufacturing team and a team from Proctor and Gamble (P&G) began making and
packaging a fortified orange and tropical fruit flavored drink mix that will
be donated to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (LDS Church).
The LDS Church will distribute the nutritionally fortified drink to
undernourished families around the world through the LDS Foundation
Humanitarian Services distribution network.

Pat, I got to thinking. Would it better to send all that money to Heifer
Project? Then I wondered again, perhaps the stuff might be useful in
hospitals as an emergency measure that minute to prevent death. I doubt if
that is what its going to be used for though.

Well, aren't they noble? A vitamin capsule in powdered form, with sugar
added, and artificial flavor. Tang and Gatorade, move over.

I don't like the association either. Make it available to all support agencies if you think it is needed. Or does one have to embrace their spiritual choice to receive this aid? It just doesn't smell right. Sue

Yes.

It's just a vitamin capsule. Not that getting the MDR of vitamins A, Bs, C,
etc. isn't important, but the idea that the company is giving the LDS church
something special to distribute to undernourished people is just sleazy
public relations. A sugar drink with vitamins.

Thank you, I was guilty about my cynicism. You are right! : )
