A question for those of you who have troubles with damping off - do your
seedlings get natural sunlight in addition to artificial light? I have
never had any serious problems with damping off, and I have never used
sterilized potting mix, chemicals, etc. I do make every effort to make
sure that my seedlings get as much natural sunlight as possible, which
aids in allowing the very topmost layer of soil to dry slightly - I
think this helps.
