CACTUS SHOW AND SALE
For those in the Washington, D.C. area and interested in, or curious
about, succulent plants, including cactus, the National Capital Cactus
and Succulent Society is holding its annual show and sale at Brookside
Gardens on May 26, 27, and 28, 2000. The show usually has about 150
plants on display and there are always a wide variety of plants for
sale.
I will have a selection of hardy (in the mid Atlantic region) cactus
and other succulents for sale at the event. Nicole and I will be there
most of Sunday, May 28th, going directly to Brookside after the radio
show and staying until the show closes at 5 p.m.
Brookside Gardens is a public park/arboretum/display
garden/conservatory located on Glenallen Avenue in Wheaton, Maryland.
Glenallen Ave runs off of Randolph Road close to its intersection with
Georgia Ave. in Wheaton.
Brookside has a web page at this url
