
Had rain here but we're grateful the tornado weather missed us. We
had warnings and took refuge in the basement.
Took a jaunt about the place yesterday and brought in a bunch of
forsythia in bloom. Gads, it looks funny to see all that yellow at
the end of November. Will miss it in the spring. Lots of other
spring bloomer buds look swollen also. Have had to cut grass but
cutting grass mulches the missed fallen leaves.

Don't know how much cold they actually need before re-bloom but we've
had only a few frosty nights (below freezing) and unseasonably warm
daytime temps, Karen. November has seemed more like April or early
May here. Some of the PJM rhodies have been putting out blooms too.
