After a cold start to the spring here in Michigan, we've had a sudden
warm spell and all the bulbs I put in last fall are busting out so fast
I have to check every morning and evening to see what's blooming.
At the moment it's mainly crocuses and miniature irises. I'd forgotten
I put in some /yellow/ irises along with the conventional ultramarine
blue and deepest inky purple ones, and so at first thought "Boy those
daffodils are coming up early!" Being an absent minded gardener means
getting surprised every spring.
