More than any combination of synthetic chemical compounds, I think
fungicides are the worst. I would say if you are serious about being
organic, you will find uninvasive methods to prevent damping off.

Keeping the top layer of soiless mix dry, keeping humidity down to the
least amount possible, and stay within a healthy air flow, using
sterilized mix (or compost with microbes which fight pathogens
naturally), and several other non-synthetic methods are available for
use to manage damping off fungus.
