amaryllis again

I was correct in thinking that a bit of stress would get my hibernated amaryllis started again (this is the first time an amaryllis hasn't started growing on its own).

I left it without water and in strong heat for a couple, three days and gave it some water. It shot up a leaf and later a thicker shoot which is probably a flower stalk!

You see it with weeds that you tear out of the ground and lay between rows. At a certain point in their development, mostly in July, they will immediately flower for a very short time and go to seed.
