In north Idaho our daffodils crane their necks to the sun from the time the
buds push up. This is nice because the show is exquisite from the driveway
on the south of our house. However from my kitchen window (also on the
south) looking at them with their heads turned giving me the cold shoulder
makes me sorta' feel left out of the spring party.
