apple recommendations requested

It's too late for me to change the plums I started a couple years ago, but I
want to order two or three apple trees but the choices are so huge I am
wondering what are some of your favorites. I live about 8 miles south of
Lake Erie, so figure this is Zone 6. I have an old crab apple that hopefully
can do for pollination purposes. I'd like a balance of early, late, and long
keeping apples. I thought I might order them from a place in Michigan called
Southmeadow Fruit Gardens (www.southmeadowfruitgardens.com). They have a
huge number of offerings, including many heirloom varieties, but the info on
disease resistance in their catalogue is limited. I'd really prefer to have
dwarf trees, although maybe I might be able to put a couple larger trees
east of our garage, but that would be close to the neighbor's property line,
so I think I'd want to get their approval.
Peace,
