You know, it's amazing with the various parts of the country, what is considered
desirable. All the ones you listed below, except the Aloe Polyphylla, I
consider common place, and you can see them on a daily basis driving to work and
back, in the Home Depots, the Nurseries the Lowes. So I never even give them a
second though.
You did see that those Aloe were only 5-6" tall, didn't you? And that they
won't even begin to do the swirly theing until they are 8-12"? Or at least
that's the way I read the description.
Best of luck with them. They are pretty plants! I guess if I can spend $500 on
a 7-1/2 foot rose standard (including shipping), you can certain spend $75 on a
5"Aloe! :) I certainly understand the desire that eats at you :)

Lee Ann;
I haven't decided whether I should be up-set with you or to
profusely thank you for putting that website on this list. When I pay the
credit card company, I may be upset. When I get the plants I will be happy &
all will be forgiven.
I ordered (besides the Aloe polyphylla) one Agave americana medio-picta
alba and one Echevaria 'Chantilly'. Couldn't resist them. There were
several others, but used restraint (credit card close to maxing out). :-)
When the Aloe arrives, I will see if I can send a part of it to you.
Maybe several leaves? or a Pict. :-)
May have found a local sponser.

Alan;
I try to stay out of Nurseries & such, to avoid temptation. I really
don't need or have the space for very many plants. Can't resist curious &
unusual plants. If I hadn't seen these plants, I still could have died
happy, but once I see them it is hard to deny the obcession.:-) One of the
reasons I don't usually go to plant websites. This time I had to see the
'Karoo Rose'.
The last one was 'Hidden Valley Hibiscus' (hiddenvalleyhibiscus.com) and
talked one of my customers into ordering over 26 of the New, Rare, & Unusual
Hibiscus. At $29.95 + shipping I couldn't get them myself. Glad they like
plants & have the space.

Glenn! I'm so envious. I can't wait to hear your comments about it when it
arrives. I am contemplating selling one of my canoes so I can buy one!
