Well, not really. She's just gone, from my backyard pond. I came home to
find the bullfrog lurking under the closest birdfeeder, and when I walked
over, it scooted really fast into the pond - as if it felt guilty! (Or else
it recognized that angry look on my face!)
We scooped it out with a net, put it in a bucket, and drove to the nearest
mucky march with lots of bugs and critters. Hope it's happy!
The birds are now slowly and carefully taking their chances drinking from
the pond. We still have other frogs, but they're just small leopard frogs
and should not harm the birds.
Peace reigns once again.
