I was wondering how could you make a Dutch master flower earlier than the
time it is supposed to. I am planting them in pots. what temperature should
I have the bulbs at first and for how long. should I have them in cooler
weather in the beginning (like outside 20's at night, 50's in the daytime)
and then after a while (How long!!) I should bring them inside. Does it work
that way.

Kay Lancaster has written a great FAQ about forcing bulbs...a good resource.
http://garden-gate.prairienet.org/bulbfaq.txt
According to that, you need to store daffodil bulbs at cool temperatures
(35-50F) for about three months, at which time the top growth may reach
about two inches tall. Then slowly bring them into full sun conditions and
warmer temperatures...about 55-65F...taller varieties need to be staked.
You'll want to select early to mid season daffodils, because late season
types require a longer chilling period. Paperwhites don't need to be
chilled.

According to Iowa State's bulb forcing information, the process to point of
bloom takes four months (or more)
