What kind of apples? Heirloom varieties, by any chance? Maybe the three of
us would find ourselves in the same place buying apples come autumn!

sounds like fun, but maybe we'd better take this off line before the others
scream?

Hi Susan,
You don't have to take it of list on my account! :-))) I would be
interested in learning more about what kind of heirloom varieties those
orchards would have if any. I want to plant some apple trees someday
here and would like for them to be heirloom varieties.
I am picking tomatoes and zucchinis now and today I picked my first 2
cucumbers. Have lots of small peppers on my plants. My mom can't get
over how sweet the tomatoes taste. I told her it was because I used
almost pure compost to build my beds and used a lot of heirloom varieties
from Fedco.

P.S. I taught my daughter to like tomatoes by putting sugar on them.
She likes them without now, but will still sugar them on occasion.
