The silt could also be a source of minerals for the garden also,
couldn't it? I didn't think of it for the minerals but if they are
there then they should get to the garden. I think I should see what
I get from a sample being tested. Then if still deficient I would
have to add less. I only hope someone will give me the energy to do
these things. I am not getting any younger but the gardening does
keep one from aging as quickly I believe.
I add by buckets to the tumbler so one bucket to three sounds
good. Either buckets or 5 shovels per 5 gallon bucket. It won't
tumble twice that.
This year I do hope to hope to have a larger engine if only to add
a pump to take my tea back up slope for a second trip thus adding
more goodies. Using a belt drive, the belt could be taken off when
not wanted.
