I knew something was growing out of the top of my new Dutch amaryllis from my daughter-in-law, and it turns out to be a flower shoot with a huge flower bud on top.
My birthday is 2 Sundays away and I'm hoping it will blossom at that time! It should be one of the very large pure white ones.
