Apparently you're supposed to divide them in fall, or autumn, Arnhild. Good
instructions via Google. Do you have lilacs perfuming your air too?

I have one of the huge Eremurus plant ( bulb).This will be her 4th year in
my garden. the fist years there used to be only one plant.
This year she puts up two shoots - and that make me think they probably
should been spilt as they use to become SO big plant ( more than 3 m tall
last summer - 3 m is about 9.9 feet?) - and there is a big rosette of
leaves by basis.
It has just started growing now. But I am not sure if I *can* spilt them
now ? It must be someone else here in list that use to have this plant and
have some experience with spitting them ?
Arnhild .. that always wish I could share the beauty of Hardanger with all
of you at this time of the year .. blossom time of Prunus and Magnolia and
... and .. and ... everything :-)
