poison ivy, was my surprise bush

I have to admit, this use of bleach surprised me.

I can see it _possibly_ for things that be infected but even there, I have
been told that soaking, with a bit of soap in the water is most effective
(it just helps the water "draw"). I once was on a canoe trip, stepped on
something in the stream bed when I was dumped from the canoe and didn't get
it attended to until a day later. Early stages of blood poisoning. I
soaked in as hot water as I could stand it for 1/2 hour of every hour for
the first day, 1/2 hour every hour and a half the second.

And I don't see bleaches application to early stages of PI, as until the
blisters break there is not much of a way for an infection to be involved.

Technu is the best but detergent would also be better at cleaning any oils
that remained, I would think. And once it's in the bloodstream, in me
anyway, it just has to wait until the body fights it off. Although once I
had a quartizone/antihistime shot that was miraculous, I just don't believe
in using steroids except as last resort. Mostly, it's like a cold. 2 weeks
if you take antibiotics, 14 days if you don't.
