Rattlesnakes do. Absolutely wonderful tasting. Very moist and tender, and yes, it tastes like chicken. I like it fried. We go out to a western restaurant here and down and have it about once every two months or so. Yummy stuff!

People always say that about things folks don't ordinarily eat. "Oh, it
tastes just like chicken." Don't believe it, snake tastes like snake,
tasty in its own right. Gator tastes a little fishy and eel tastes like
fish because that's what it is. Only difference is clams, regardless of
how they're fixed they still taste like pencil erasers to me. And that's
the truth, so help me Lucille.

I know how you feel, have come face to face a few times with snakes,
just stay still a few moments and the back away slowly, it is worried
you might kill it. Often they will back away brfore you do.

I just can't countenance it. Too close to snake. I found one of my
garden
snakes yesterday, hidden between a fence and some concrete
planters stacked
for winter, it was dead! And it STILL freaked me out!!!!!!!!!Looked like
it
maybe had a stab or slash on one side, maybe a big bird dropped it?
Or a cat
left it -- we have two big neighbor cats that hunt here? I don't think I
did
any rummaging there that would have hurt it. I felt kind of bad, that
snake
has scared me evry summer for years.

Frogs legs are delicious but snake, ugh! Couldn't do that one. Mary in

I have never eaten it but some countrys do have it first on the menu!
